Shure's MVi ("The Adapter") is a digital audio interface - a pocket-size recording studio - for iOS, Android, Mac and PC devices that works with your favorite studio microphones, and allows for simple and flexible almost anywhere, particularly in home studio recording. The MVi is designed for XLR professional mics or 1/4"-connected instruments, offers a 3.5 mm headphone out for latency-free monitoring, and can connect directly to any PC via USB or to any modern iOS device via Lightning. The unit's 1/4"/XLR combo jack can provide full phantom power when connected via USB and up to 12 volts of phantom power when connected via Lightning to an iOS device. Users can connect their high-quality studio microphone (condenser or dynamic) with almost any mobile device and then make adjustments with the intuitive touch panel, which allows for easy and noiseless switching between DSP modes, mic mute, gain adjustment, and headphone output levels. Shure's MVi has other features, as well - including several DSP modes (flat, speech, singing, acoustic instrument, loud) with built-in compression and EQ and a high-quality, 24-bit discrete JFET Class A buffered instrument preamplifier input for exceptional tone and clarity. In addition, the interface's rugged, all-metal construction make reliable, 24-bit/48 kHz quality digital recording possible wherever you go. |
